Job Description

We need an experienced full stack developer to lead the development of product features on our platform. This will involve being able to take high level requirements from the product team and being able to develop innovative proof of concept quickly, from the Elasticsearch cluster all the way through to the JavaScript client components . Then being able to work with other technical leaders to design and plan a robust enterprise grade implementations to be developed in a fast paced agile development environment. This is an opportunity to create innovative solutions running on large scale infrastructure helping organizations tackle some of the most interesting data investigations in the world.


What you should bring to the job

You should be self-driven, love technology and problem solving. You should have a continuous improvement mindset, a solution oriented approach and an interest in data analytics. Experience in a big data environment, in particular using Elasticsearch, is a must. Candidates must be permitted to work in Ireland.


Job requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent proven real world experience.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in full stack application development.
  • Strong experience, including security aspects, with JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js and Java.
  • Prior Elasticsearch and Kibana experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, build automation tools and Java/JavaScript testing
  • frameworks.
  • Excellence in Agile development practices, continuous integration and deployment.
  • Proven competence on the security aspects of enterprise software.
  • Competences in widely used databases, including SQL and No-SQL platforms.
  • Previous experience coordinating architecture across teams and designing technical implementations for user requirements aligned with a technical strategy.
